Chapel In the Pines is a log structure located among tall pine trees on a country road just five minutes from I-55. We are 30 minutes south of Memphis and east of the Tunica casinos. In addition to the Chapel, which will comfortably seat 80, we offer a beautiful outdoor Cathedral where we can accomodate up to 120 guests. Ceremony Packages
These packages are for ceremony only, no reception. They are available every day of the week, and until noon on Saturday.
"Just Married" - Just for the Bride and Groom. No guests. Includes services of the Chaplain, Chapel or Cathedral decorations. Thirty-minute package. Please arrived dressed for ceremony. $150
"New Beginning" - A small ceremony to begin your new life together. Chapel ceremony includes services of Chaplain, Coordinator, decorations, traditional recorded wedding music and bows for reserved seating. One-hour package starts 30 minutes prior to ceremony time. Limited to one attendant each, 20 seated guests. $350 indoor $400 outdoor
"Special Memories" - Same ceremony as above in a two-hour package for a larger guest list. Seating for up to 80 in Chapel, 100 at Cathedral. Chapel open one hour prior to ceremony. $600 indoor $700 outdoor
You may wish to add "Cake Cutting and Toast" to either of the above packages. We prepare a small two-layer wedding cake with our cake topper, the use of our toast glasses and punch for toasting for $125. We will not cut and serve the cake, but will package it to go with you. This is ideal if you want cake cutting and toast photos or if you are having a reception at another site.
Ceremony/Reception Packages
These packages include the wedding ceremony and reception. Please carefully consider your guest list (maximum number of guests) when choosing a package. All these packages include: Ceremony performed by our Chaplain, services of Wedding Coordinator, traditional recorded wedding music, decorations in Chapel or Cathedral. Reception includes wedding cake, punch, mints, nuts and an assortment of finger sandwiches, meats, cheese, fruits and vegetables and chocolate fondue. If you would like a heavier fare, ask about our add-on dishes. We package the top layer of the wedding cake to go with you. Plates, cups and forks provided. Outdoor guest tables include white table covers and our signature pine centerpieces. These packages are available any day of the week.
"Dreams Come True" - Two-hour ceremony/reception package for up to 20 guests. Chapel open thirty minutes prior to ceremony. $1650
"Dreams Come True II" - Same as above but for up to 40 guests. $1800
"Forever" - Three-hour package for up to 60 guests. Chapel open one hour prior to ceremony. $2200
"Forever II" - Same as above but for up to 80 guests. $2450
The above packages are priced for indoor ceremony. Add $150 to hold ceremony in the Cathedral (outdoor). All Cathedral packages include reception background music.
"Traditional Reception" - You may prefer a traditional reception with wedding cake, punch, mints and nuts only. If so, you may deduct $150 from the price of the Dreams Come True Packages, or $200 from the Forever packages.
"Ultimate Garden Wedding" - Our most popular late-Spring and Summer package, the Ultimate Garden package is held at our outdoor Cathdral for up to 120 guests. We suggest that your ceremony start on the hour so that we can begin the processional with the ringing of the antique school bell. The four-hour package includes all the above plus aisle decorations, flowers/ferns in the Cathedral, bows for reserved seating, white aisle runner, outdoor guestbook table and gift table. $2995

Ashley Hall is located next to the Chapel and Cathedral with a beautiful sunset view of the pond. With a full-service kitchen, we can provide all your reception needs as well as accomodate your wedding guests in a casual and serene setting. The front porch, patio, Cathedral and Pavillion provide adequate space for your guests to eat, visit and shoot special photos.

The Autograph Mat has become a popular replacement for
or addition to the traditional guest register. Ours is cut with
an oval opening and a 5-inch margin to provide lots of signing
space. $15 Photo shows a guest table for an outdoor wedding.
Our Embroidered shirts are available in your wedding colors
and for all members of your wedding party. They make great
wedding party gifts. Feedback is that Brides & Grooms who
wear these on their honeymoon get lots of perks at resorts,
restaurants, etc.! $20 adult $15 children
If either of you have small children, the Family Medallion
is a great way to include them in the ceremony. A special
reading by the Chaplain emphasizes the importance of
children in the new union and you actually put the
medallions on the children after the ring exchange. They
are available in silver or gold necklaces or rings, and the
boy's medallion has a leather chain. $65 for one, $50 for
additional ones.
Stained glass windows in the Chapel provide
a beautiful background for a beautiful Bride!
Both the Unity Candle and Unity Sand ceremonies add a
touching element to your ceremony as well as the appropriate
place for special music. Our candle is an oil lamp so it can
be used outdoor. Can be rented with new tapers and candle
stands for $10. If you choose the Sand pouring ceremony, the
iron stand and hanging vase are yours to keep as a memento
of your special day. $40
Our White Dove Release is a beautiful conclusion to your
wedding ceremony. Doves can be hand or basket released
and can include escort doves and a fan-tail dove display. The
birds are raised and trained here on our farm and after a short
flight, they return to their loft. Starting at $100
Our new Pavillion provides a great area for rehearsal
dinners, photos, reception set up and a dancefloor. If you
want to save money on a dj or band, consider booking
our music package which includes an extra hour on
your reception, plus all the popular reception dance
music, a disco ball and lights. If you'd like to add your favorite songs for special dances, we'll be glad to play them. With our mike setup, we can announce special events like the first dance, bouquet toss, etc. Music package $300

As a long-time photographer, and since moving to Mississippi many
years ago, I have been fascinated with the growth and development
of the cotton boll. I had seen several artistic renderings of the stages
of development, but wanted to create my own. Several years ago, I
spent every morning in a cotton field near our home, shooting at dawn
until I got the photos that I wanted. I then spent almost as much time
designing my idea of the perfect mat and frame for the presentation.
I've been fortunate to sell "The Stages of Cotton" for several years
all over the United States. They make excellent gifts for cotton
collectors and for the southerner who has moved away from the
south but still longs for the sights and smells of the Mississippi cotton
field. These are available in two sizes: the 6 1/8 x 15 5/8 frame features
2x3 photos in oval mat openings with a brass title plate. On the back is
a narrative of my first memories of cotton fields in Alabama and my
reason for wanting to shoot this particular project. The 8 1/4 x 24 1/4 frame
features 4x5 photos. Frames are available in mushroom (off white), ruby
(wine red) or fern green. The small frame sells for $39 and the large for $59.

"Tail Dance" by Dr. Phil Lavely is special because it is
remarqued by reknowned professional bass fisherman
Bill Dance as well as Mark Davis. The print is # 1608
of an issue of 6000. Available at Lucius Studio.
Another of my original pieces is "Mississippi Magnolia". The photograph
is double matted in forest green and white suede with a dark but decorative
frame by Larson Juhl. The piece is available with a 5x7 or 8x10 photograph.
Prices are $35 and $45.
Another of my passions is sewing. I have recently begun to
incorporate machine embroidery and applique into my pieces.
My favorite things to sew are children's items but I've also
begun my first quilt and done some custom clothing for customers.
